In Barak Obama's acceptance speech upon becoming president-elect, he mentioned all the things a 100 year-old-women had seen in her life. She had seen many changes, such as the time when she couldn't vote because of being a woman and the color of her skin, to the election of the first black American President. In my lifetime, I have also seen many things which have made huge impresions on me: from pinball machines to Virtual realtity; from Black Sabbath being concidered Satan worshippers to Ozzy becoming a mainstream figure. And now, I've seen our country go from the most deceitful, manipulative, horriffic era to what seems to be one of the most amazing events in the history of American society. It wasn't that long ago that blacks couldn't eat in "white" restauraunts. It wasn't even that long ago that they were slaves, having no rights as human beings at all. They were slaves for the ancestors of the corrupt, bigoted, extremist, "white" folks that are now being ousted from governmental offices across the board.

Not that all white folks are like that (I'm white.), but the ones who have been in power during the last eight years, I think, are the worst examples of my race. They don't care about people of any color, unless it benefits them in some way. That fact, in my opinion, has been the main reason for the terrible course our country has taken while they (the neocons) have been in control. Their motivation is pure greed.

It is time now (past time, really) to gather some information. What is the total amount of illicit money that the officials have made during their time in control? Cheney cleaned up with Haliburtin, Mrs. Cheney with Lockheed, Rice had Chevron, Bush, Sr. benefitted from public lands put up for sale (He managed to buy the properties at a bargain.), and the list goes on. I don't have all the facts yet, but will begin to collect them. I'm sure it will take a while. I don't blame Bush W. for everything, I believe at lot was mainly associated with Cheney, who, like a sly fox, stayed in the shadows while weilding his evil will.

It is time to check into how the folks on the hill have helped their buddys. How are the remaining Wall Street companies doing these days? It seems like they were hand-picked for survival to me. Where did all the money go that was supposed to help the economy? (I heard the bankers were using it to invest for themselves . . . surprise, surprise. Who didn't see that one coming?)

It is time to find out all the damage the administration has done to our constutution and Bill of Rights. If you think nothing has been done, you better think again, and do some research.

It is time for the American people to open their eyes, and I beleive they are begining to do that. They have finally seen that they were being duped by the Bush administration. How many have had to die because of us? And yes, it has been us, because we allowed that corrupt bunch of scoundrels to take us to war. Using the sentiments after 9/11, they concocted the plan to minipulate and deceive us, leading us to believe that we were going to fight for those lost souls in New York. I can see how some were fooled, but we shouldn't be that easily fooled. The facts were there. There was no relation to Iraq and 9/11. I'm not going into all those details here. I"ll save that for another place, but you can certainly do your own research.

It is time to find out what is - or has been - really going on behind the scenes. What is all the talk about FEMA Camps and active duty military in America? How have we let our government get so out of control?

It is also time to celebrate. There my be some people behind Obama who are, at the least, questionable (Brezinski?), but I believe Obama himslef to be a good man with the best intentions. Today in the news, I saw where we made an air strike in Afganistan killing a wedding party consisting mostly of women and children. Who is in control here? It seems there is no one.

President Obama, a lot of people are depending on you, not only in America, but around the world where we are killing people. I hope you will have the support from America and the world community. Good luck.
